Born in the former Soviet Union, and raised by immigrant parents in San Francisco, Kira Soltanovich has plenty to laugh about. "Like most kids, my parents took me to Disneyland… not for the rides, for the lines. They assumed there’d be food at the
end of them."

A staple on the comedy scene for over a decade, it was only a matter of time Kira would get scooped up for the Hot Tamales Live comedy special burning up the cable ratings on the Showtime Network.

A Series Regular on the hit hidden camera show Girls Behaving Badly, she has also appeared on such shows as Red Eye, Dr. Phil, The World Stands Up, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Fresh Baked Videos on the Spike Network. Currently, Kira is a recurring character on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as the voice of The Phony Photo Booth. Also listen for Kira as the voice of "Carla" in the animated series Iggy Cool and as a Series Regular voice on Bandits vs. Smokies on CMT.

And whether it's stand-up comedy, sketch, hidden camera or improv, Kira keeps nightclub and television audiences laughing. A graduate of the San Diego State University Dramatic Arts Department and with training from the A.C.T. and The Groundlings, Ms. Soltanovich got her start as a writer’s assistant. First, at Aquinnah Films and then at the popular USA Network game show Strip Poker.
