Video On Demand Requirements

The minimum requirements are:

* Flash 7
* PC: IE 6+, Mozilla 1, Netscape 7, Opera 8
* Apple Macintosh: IE 6, Safari
* Javascript: enabled
* Cookies: enabled

This site is best used with:

* Flash 9
* PC: Firefox 1.5 or Internet Explorer 6+, Netscape 8.1, Opera 8
* Apple Macintosh: Firefox 1.5, Netscape 8.1 or Safari 2
* Javascript: enabled
* Cookies: enabled

For PC users, Video on Demand will work best with Internet Explorer 6 and above, Firefox 1.5, Netscape 7 and Opera 8. For Macintosh users, the optimum browsers are Firefox 1.5 and Safari 2.

The Flash player can be downloaded and installed for free. Click on the link and follow the prompts.

What you'll need to enable on your computer to use our player:

Cookies

To use Video On Demand, you need to enable Cookies on your computer. To enable Cookies on Internet Explorer, go to the 'Tools' menu >> Internet Options >> Privacy >> Advanced. Tick the box that says 'Override Automatic Cookie Handling', then 'Accept for First-party Cookies', then click 'OK'.

If you use Mozilla or Firefox, select the 'Tools' menu on your browser >> Internet Options >> Privacy. Maximise the 'Cookies' section and ensure that the box 'Allow sites to set Cookies' is checked.

If you use Netscape, go to 'Edit' >> Preferences >> Advanced and ensure the box 'Accept all Cookies' is checked. This should turn on 'Cookies' on your computer.

Javascript

The Video On Demand also requires that you have Javascript loaded on your computer. Most of you, however, will already have Javascript enabled on your machines.

If you use Internet Explorer 6 and above, you can check to see if Javascript is switched on or off. From the menu select 'Tools' >> Internet Options >> Security. Then click the 'Custom' button. Scroll down to select 'Scripting/ Active Scripting'. Click 'Enable' and then 'OK'. If your browser is an earlier version than Internet Explorer 3, it may not be Javascript enabled. To maximise your experience with Video on Demand, we recommend that you download a more recent Internet browser.
